Job Purpose This role should provide support to the indus Payroll and HR team at an entry to mid-level capacity to assist in confidential matters while learning our internal process and procedures to become a backup for our team.
Duties & Responsibilities Assist Payroll Manager with weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing.
Become proficient in multi-state tax and leave protocol.
Provide administrative support to PR and HR for confidential material.
Serve as a backup for payroll questions and inquiries.
Provide support for unemployment inquiries.
Assist HR Manager with administrative functions of our Learning Management System (training and development) Qualifications College degree preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of college degree required; Minimum 3-5 years previous related experience in payroll or HR; General knowledge & understanding of the construction industry is preferred; Knowledge or experience with a union is preferred; Possess excellent written & verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with the field, management, and office staff alike; Proficient in Excel; Must be detail oriented and highly organized; Work under pressure in a deadline driven environment; Must be proactive and solution oriented; Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements Requires computer use for long periods of time; Noise level is typically quiet in the office; Required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers to probe, handle, or feel and reach with hands or arms; Required to sit for long periods; Required to listen and respond in a professional manner; Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 15lbs; Benefits Offered:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
